The Story

Vigilant acted as the Owner’s Project Manager in the construction of a New Capital Hyundai in St. John’s. This project is the largest Hyundai dealership in Canada, at 68,000 square feet, this state-of-the-art facility is more than double the size of its previous location and takes a major leap forward in terms of customer experience, convenience, and service. 

The building’s exterior is finished in brushed bronze with design elements inspired from cloud and wave patterns in nature, even featuring a groomed walking trail for customers and staff. The interior features modern, premium furniture, customer lounges, 12-car showroom, kids’ area, digital kiosks, tablets, and an in-house bistro to enhance and facilitate the customer experience. Named Bistro FIVE15, customers can now enjoy freshly-made breakfast, lunch, and baked goods along with refreshments, hot beverages, and artisanal coffees.

Especially suited for adverse weather in Atlantic Canada, customers can now enjoy a quick and convenient check-in at the indoor 3-lane service drive-thru. Equipped with the newest in automotive technology, every customer through the drive-thru will now receive a complimentary and instantaneous wheel alignment check, tire tread check, as well as an exterior cleaning. It’s 25 technician bays, automatic car washes and more than doubles Capital Hyundai’s previous service capacity.
