The Story

Vigilant’s Project Management team managed the design-build on behalf of the Owner, including design, construction, commissioning, and occupancy phases. Vigilant also provided weekly site inspections and progress reports to the Owner.  Vigilant also assisted with scheduling issues, subcontractor management, change management, and regulatory requirements. This building consisted of structural concrete foundations and conventional structural steel construction, with insulated metal wall panels, and a standing seam roof.

The building assembly type was chosen to minimize labour efforts and expedite the work progress. The building was turned over for occupancy in May 2013. This project was the first major project managed by Vigilant for this Owner. Upon completion the project owner was satisfied with the work--hiring Vigilant to complete 5 more projects.
