The Story

Vigilant worked in procuring the new Paradise Intermediate School, which spans 11,500 square meters and accommodates 827 students from the Paradise area. As a technical advisor to the client, Vigilant was involved in the project’s planning, including setting project goals, defining the scope of work, and developing a concept design. Vigilant provided the client with critical insights to help identify and mitigate potential risks, including the cost risks associated with building a bypass road and roundabout. Vigilant delivered a comprehensive design-build RFP and managed all project communications and documentation. Vigilant ensured the project complied with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards, provided a pre-tender estimate, and supported the tendering process. The project was completed ahead of schedule, with the school opening before the September 2020 school year.
